Abstract | This is processed Conductivity, Temperature, Depth (CTD) data collected on the Walters Shoal Cruise on Algoa Voyage 207, 15 May to 11 June 2014. The purpose of this cruise was to survey the oceanographic conditions and plankton distributions around Walter Shoal seamount, from beyond the 1000m contour line across the plateau. |
Methods | The CTD raw data was converted to scientific units using SBE Data Processing software (ver 7.26.7.114). The following modules (SBE Data Processing) were then run on the converted data using the recommended default values: Align CTD, Filter, Loop Edit and Cell Thermal Mass. The data was then split into the up cast and the down cast. The down cast data was then bin averaged on pressure, every 1db. |
